meu foco. Me percebo, diariamente, acompanhando o noticiário relacionado à
maturidade à cata de pautas; me vejo, deliberadamente, seguindo cinquentões,
história do horóscopo geracional ficou
Júpiter”. Segundo a Denny, Júpiter retorna a sua casa natal a cada 12 anos;
A ver:
me reservado.

I want to start this post thanking the readers who have been following Twice Thirty since it was launched, four weeks ago, and who have been supporting my blogger journey through emails, comments in the blog itself, WhatsApp and social media. I questioned myself a lot before deciding to do this, because I was not sure I would be able to create a new post on a relevant matter every week to keep the blog alive at least for a year. Without many answers, I decided to give it a try and now I realize, since then, this has been determining my focus. I find myself obsessively reading the news on maturity to identify approachable subjects; following who have turned fifty, sixty and so in social media to seak for inspiration; and, even, stretching my neck over third parties conversations, when, once in a while, I identify there a potential topic for a future post.
And it was from one of those conversations that this post came to life. In a mall cafe, two women discussed the influence of astrology on each generation. One of them said she was experiencing 'the core of the second Saturn's return", which, according to her, happens when we are 59 years old (my age!) and means we feel the need of reviewing everything in life. The other, absolutely sceptical, mocked, saying: 'for you everything is written in the stars! If I had relied on zodiacs, I would not have kept my marriage for 30 years now, would not have retired from my first and only job and would still thinking if I should have my first kid!" I did not stay to see how that conversation ended, but the story on the generational horoscope kept hammering on my mind, so I called my friend, the astrologist and artist, Denise Campinho (*). And she confirmed the Saturn's return when we turn 59.
She explained that Saturn really brings the need of "deep dives to build new emotional structures based on what we have already done in life". In her words, this happens in preparation to the next cycle that starts in the sixties: the Jupiter's cycle.
"Jupiter returns to where it was in the sky when we were born every twelve years", she says, "so, when we turn 60, it is its 5th return. And this brings new options, a lot of expansion, at the same time, it recovers abilities that many times we forgot we had".
Thinking about Jupiter's four previous cycles, I notice it may have influenced my life. For example:
And here I am, on my way to the sixties, preparing myself for the next Jupiter's cycle. My friend astrologist, says most of the emotions I have been feeling, the questions I have been asking and even the creation of this blog have to do with this prep process. That means: everything is written in the stars, as one of the ladies in that mall conversation said. I only hope, dear readers, that written in the stars or not, you stick with me in this adventure, because I will need support. According to Denny, "Uranus comes after Jupiter and breaks the existing standards to pursue originality, new ways of expression and the need to build something collectively. And all of this can generate anxiety".
If this blog survives till there, I promise to share with you all the stuff Jupiter and Uranus may have reserved to me.

- When I was thirty six, due to a mononucleosis, I was forced into an one hundred sabbatical days. I also got married for the second time (two years later, my husband died tragically).
- When I was forty eight, the company I worked for promoted me and asked me to move to São Paulo. That move made my current and definitive marriage solid.
And here I am, on my way to the sixties, preparing myself for the next Jupiter's cycle.
